Story
Rutba — “status” — is ARY Digital’s new prime-time serial about power, position and the price of keeping face: as the channel’s own tagline puts it, when rutba is at stake, no one reveals their hand too soon. The serial brings together one of the strongest ensembles of the season — Mehwish Hayat, Zahid Ahmed as Meer, Hiba Bukhari as Mahnoor, Talha Chahour as Hadi, with Ali Tahir and Salma Hasan around them — and marks Mehwish Hayat’s return to prime-time drama. It is written by Umera Ahmed, the writer behind Dar-e-Nijaat’s current run, and directed by Haseeb Hassan, with Humayun Saeed and Sana Shahnawaz producing for Six Sigma Plus and Next Level Entertainment. The first episode goes out on Tuesday 6 October 2026 at 8:00 PM PKT, and new episodes then air every Monday and Tuesday in the slot Bas Tera Saath Ho has just vacated. Watching from abroad, that is 4:00 PM in the UK, 8:30 PM in India, 9:00 PM in the UAE and 11:00 AM on the US East Coast. Full episodes land on ARY Plus after each broadcast — in the app or on aryplus.tv — and this page keeps the verified cast, schedule and every upcoming episode date up to date.
