Episode 1

The first episode of Rutba goes out on Tuesday 6 October 2026 at 8:00 PM PKT on ARY Digital. Watching from abroad, that is 4:00 PM in the UK (British Summer Time), 8:30 PM in India, 9:00 PM in the UAE and 11:00 AM on the US East Coast. The full episode lands on ARY Plus once the broadcast finishes — in the app for Android and iOS or on the web at aryplus.tv — so the premiere is watchable from anywhere the same evening. Rutba is the new serial from writer Umera Ahmed and director Haseeb Hassan, produced by Humayun Saeed and Sana Shahnawaz for Six Sigma Plus and Next Level Entertainment. The premise turns on status — rutba — and how far people will go to protect it: ARY’s own campaign line is that when rutba is at stake, no one reveals their hand too soon. Mehwish Hayat leads the cast alongside Zahid Ahmed as Meer, Hiba Bukhari as Mahnoor and Talha Chahour as Hadi, with Ali Tahir and Salma Hasan in key roles. The serial airs new episodes every Monday and Tuesday at 8:00 PM PKT, taking over the slot Bas Tera Saath Ho held since May.
