How to Watch Pakistani Dramas Officially From Anywhere
· 9 min read · Updated 1 Nov 2026, 2:22 am
Pakistani dramas are followed by millions of viewers inside Pakistan and across the world — and the way you watch them officially is changing quickly. Throughout 2026, networks have been moving full episodes from YouTube onto their own apps and websites. The biggest shift affects ARY Digital: from 17 September 2026, new full episodes of ARY dramas are being directed to ARY Plus, ARY's official streaming platform, rather than YouTube.
This guide explains every official way to watch current Pakistani dramas, network by network, and what the ARY change means for you. EpisodeNo also maintains a dedicated ARY Plus information hub with drama lists and episode information.
Updated: 18 September 2026 — ARY Plus is live at aryplus.tv and new ARY episodes stream there. We revise this page whenever official information changes.
The short answer
| Network | Official way to watch (2026) | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| ARY Digital | ARY Plus app (Android/iOS) and web streaming on aryplus.tv — new episodes from 17 September 2026 | Free to download; some special titles are paid rentals |
| HUM TV | HUM TV's official app and hum.tv; check the network's official channels per serial | Free with sign-up where required |
| Geo Entertainment | Official Har Pal Geo channels and harpalgeo.tv | Free |
Streaming availability can differ by country. If an app or episode is not available in your region, that is a licensing decision by the network — a "not available in your country" message does not mean the drama has vanished.
Watching ARY Digital dramas officially
ARY Digital is currently the network to watch, because its distribution model just changed in a big way:
- Until 17 September 2026, ARY uploaded full episodes of its dramas to its official YouTube channel.
- From 17 September 2026, ARY is directing viewers to ARY Plus — its own app and web player — for full episodes. ARY's chairman has publicly described ARY Plus as a free streaming destination for its dramas, and the platform also sells rentals for a small number of special titles.
- You can find it on Google Play and Apple's App Store as the ARY Plus app, or stream in a browser at aryplus.tv.
Current examples on EpisodeNo: Dar-e-Nijaat (new episodes Friday and Saturday at 8:00 PM PKT) and Meri Zindagi Hai Tu (the completed 2025–26 romance with Hania Aamir and Bilal Abbas Khan, now streaming on the platform). See our ARY Plus page for the full picture, and our guide on why ARY dramas are leaving YouTube.
Watching HUM TV dramas officially
HUM TV distributes through its own app and hum.tv, and historically through its YouTube channel. Distribution can vary per serial — for example Ek Chadar Maili Si (2026) airs in the 8:00 PM PKT prime-time slot, and current availability is best checked on HUM's own channels. EpisodeNo lists verified schedule information for each show; for network background see our HUM TV page.
Watching Geo Entertainment dramas officially
Geo's entertainment content lives under the Har Pal Geo brand, with its own website (harpalgeo.tv) and channels. Like the other networks, Geo's upload patterns can change, so the safest habit is to start from the network's official site or app rather than searching for re-uploads.
What about YouTube?
YouTube remains official where the network itself uploads — promos, teasers, soundtracks and (for some networks) full episodes. What is changing is the assumption that every full episode will appear there. With ARY's move, the reliable pattern for new ARY episodes is ARY Plus first. If you cannot find an episode on YouTube, do not reach for pirated re-uploads — those channels are often slow, misleading or unsafe. Our guide covers exactly this situation: Can't find an ARY episode on YouTube?
Practical tips for watching from anywhere
- Start from official sources first: the network's own app or website will always be the fastest, highest-quality and safest option.
- Check region notes: apps and libraries can differ by country. If something is unavailable in your region, look for the network's own YouTube channel as a fallback (or wait — availability does change).
- Use the official schedule: know when the next episode actually airs. EpisodeNo maintains a weekly schedule with times and countdowns for current serials.
- Avoid "watch full episode" mirrors: unofficial re-uploads are often removed, monetised by strangers, or bundled with malicious ads — and they take views away from the people who made the drama.
Frequently asked questions
Is ARY Plus free?
Downloading costs nothing, and ARY's chairman has publicly described drama streaming on the platform as free. A few special titles — Tamasha LIVE among them — are offered as rentals from PKR 100 on aryplus.tv. If paid options ever expand beyond that, the announcement will come through ARY's own channels.
Do I need an account to watch on ARY Plus?
The app is free to download from Google Play and the App Store. Some features may ask you to create an account; that is standard for streaming apps and helps the platform remember where you left off.
Where can I watch Pakistani dramas with English subtitles?
Subtitle availability depends on each network's official uploads. Check the episode page on the network's official platform — that is where subtitle options, when offered, are listed first.
How do I know when the next episode airs?
Every show page on EpisodeNo lists the verified air day and time, and episode pages include countdowns — for example, Dar-e-Nijaat airs Friday and Saturday at 8:00 PM PKT.
